The Product Marketing Director is responsible for company-wide product marketing efforts. The Product Marketing Director defines product marketing strategy to include: product and service definition, positioning, pricing, benefits and promotional strategy. He/She will work closely with the Business Development and Strategic Development teams to create and manage marketing programs to support product sales efforts worldwide. Responsibilities include: - Drive product positioning and competitive selling strategies.
- Create and implement short (1-year) to long-term (5-year) marketing plans that include new product introductions and lifecycle management. Plan for both the short and long term to ensure our offerings meet the needs of the market and the achievement of revenue objectives.
- Lead a cross-functional team to develop a master plan of standard product and service offerings, including pricing.
- Drive creation of sales tools and collateral, including web site content, product brochures, case studies and data sheets.
- Drive creation of marketing programs in support of revenue objectives.
- Evangelize Naverus products and services to customers, regulators and other relevant parties.
Qualifications: - 7-10 years of product marketing experience with a minimum 5 years aviation experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in required with preference given to engineering or aviation-related degree. MBA preferred.
- Established track record of driving market adoption of new solutions in highly complex environment.
- Experience marketing service products.
- Experience in defining and managing product lifecycles.
- Experience in motivating and managing cross-functional teams to achieve common objectives
- Ability to communicate and solve problems across disciplines, borders and functions.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
- Data driven analytical decision maker possessing strong business judgment driving to results.
