| Reporting directly to the Director of Quality, the Manager of Standards supports the development and management of Naverus Design Criteria, Operations Manuals and Handbooks to ensure the required level of quality is maintained. Responsibilities include: - Develop and maintain Naverus procedure design artifact documentation standards appropriate to specific state requirements. This includes AIP required source information, procedure design engineering details sufficient to substantiate design quality, and graphical representation of procedures
- Support the Quality department review of Naverus Operations manuals and handbooks by conducting internal audits and staff interviews, and by monitoring problem reports to minimize variations between practiced processes and documented processes
- Support the organization of the library of controlled and uncontrolled documents, including Naverus, regulatory, and industry documents
- Support the Quality Department management of special projects as assigned, including developing extensions to Naverus procedure design criteria and regulatory approvals, for example: modifying, improving or creating new standards and criteria using new technology innovations, expanded customer equipment, post-implementation and validation of customer operational performance
- Contribute to the continued definition of requirements for the Naverus design processes and tools to ensure the production of Naverus RNP procedures at the required level of quality, scale, and performance
- Support development of advanced concepts of products, concepts and services to continue Naverus leadership in the transformation of airspace
Qualifications: - 4 year degree in Engineering (Aeronautical Preferred)
- Knowledge of various Regulatory Rules, Guidance and Manuals (e.g. ICAO, FARs, FAA ACs and Orders, etc)
- 5 years experience working with aviation regulatory agencies
- 5 years design and engineering experience
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Experience with an airline or aviation-related company
- Experience with Framemaker, MS Word, Power Point, Excel and Lotus Notes
