| Naverus has worked extensively with the FAA on RNP issues. In addition to many years of collaboration on procedure criteria and other regulatory issues Naverus has supplied RNP training materials to the Administration. In 2007 the FAA delegated Naverus as both an RNP Approval Consultant as well as an RNP Procedure Designer. Having witnessed Naverus’ efforts to obtain RNP approval for airlines in other countries, the FAA determined that it would be helpful for U.S. carriers to benefit from the extensive experience the company has with the approval process. Naverus’ procedure design delegation is also based on the company’s extensive experience and covers not only procedure design but flight testing and validation as well.
